Why sequences beat one-off blasts
A one-off message is a coin flip. A well-timed sequence is a conversation.
The math
If a single message converts at 4%, a follow-up two days later typically adds another 2–3 points. A third nudge a week after that can add another point. That's 7–8% total, almost double the one-shot number, with the same list.
A starter sequence
- Day 0 — the reply that greets the inbound and asks the qualifying question.
- Day 2 — a short nudge that acknowledges they might be busy and restates the single next step.
- Day 7 — a "last check-in" that offers an out, and converts surprisingly well because of it.
Start there. Measure. Cut what doesn't work.
